Six areas instead of a long feature list. Every feature mentioned is available today.
Display name, region, profile image, cover image, short story, breeding specialities, care and water parameters at a shareable address. With your own text and at least one active listing, you also appear in the seller directory.
Title, description, price, quantity, colour, region, handover and availability. Your listings are public immediately, and you can edit, duplicate, deactivate or mark them as sold yourself.
Up to six images in the profile gallery and up to five images per listing, maximum 4 MB per image. In addition, an MP4 or WebM short clip per listing, a maximum of 4 MB and 30 seconds, and optionally a YouTube or Vimeo link in the profile.
Full-text search and filters for colour, region, handover and availability lead buyers to your listings. Interested buyers can choose to follow your profile. Every subscription requires a confirmation link, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
After completing a sale, you create a single-use review link. Every review is clearly labelled “Marketplace sale confirmed by the seller”, not “Verified purchase”. You can reply publicly once.
You decide whether your telephone number or email is public. Your account email stays private. You arrange the sale, payment, shipping or collection directly with the buyer; Garnelenfischer does not accept payments.
What is not included. No commission, basic fee, monthly fee or listing fee. No advance review or certification. There is no platform buyer protection: Garnelenfischer does not accept payments and cannot hold them back. The full limits are explained in the Marketplace guidelines.

Classified listings are a perfectly valid option. Many beautiful Swiss breeding lines change hands that way, and collecting locally saves the animals a journey altogether. The difference is in the format, rather than quality: a listing is a single event, while a profile is a place that lasts.

You do not have to choose. Anibis, Ricardo, classified listings, fairs, forums, groups or your own website: keep using what works for you. There is no exclusivity here and no duty to report sales through other channels. The practical difference between buying from a breeder and through a private classified listing is explained in the guide Breeder or classified ad.
The marketplace accepts only dwarf shrimp bred by their sellers in Switzerland. With every listing, you explicitly confirm that you bred the animals yourself in Switzerland. A listing cannot be saved without this confirmation.
This is your own declaration, not a verification: we do not inspect your tanks, check proof of origin or award a certification. A promise we could not keep would be worthless to an honest breeder.
We moderate afterwards. If anyone finds something in a listing implausible, they can use the Contact details to write to us; we follow up on every report. For false information, imported animals misrepresented as your own breeding, unlawful content or spam, we remove the listing or entire profile and may suspend the account. There are no contractual penalties. The full rules are in the Marketplace guidelines.
How Garnelenfischer is financed. The marketplace costs you nothing. Our income comes from elsewhere: we sell imported Japanese food. Our own food Chaotic Shrimp is in development. Garnelenfischer does not sell any shrimp itself, neither on the marketplace nor anywhere else. We are therefore not in competition with you.

Nothing. Registration, account, seller profile, images, galleries, short clips, listings, seller reviews and notifications are free. There is no commission, no basic fee, no monthly fee and no listing fee.
No, there is no commission. Garnelenfischer is not involved in the purchase contract, sees neither payment nor handover and does not collect anything. What you agree with your buyers remains entirely yours.
Yes. There is no exclusivity, restriction on selling outside the platform or duty to report sales through other channels. Use other channels as you wish; this profile is an additional place to find you, not a contract controlling how you sell.
Directly between you and the buyer, via the route you agree on. Garnelenfischer does not accept funds, hold funds, or operate escrow accounts. There is therefore no platform-side buyer protection here.
You. You agree on handover, packaging, shipping windows and transport risk directly with the buyer; You can specify what applies to you in your profile and in the listing. Garnelenfischer does not ship animals and will not take your place in the event of a complaint from a third-party business.
A review is only created if you have previously confirmed a completed sale for one of your listings; This creates a link that you pass on yourself. You can only respond publicly to each review once. We can hide insults, untrue statements of fact, third-party personal data and obvious misuse. As long as you don't have a rating, none will be displayed on your profile, not even an empty star bar.
Required details are your display name and region in the profile, and the title, price, quantity, colour and Swiss-breeding declaration in the listing. To publish a listing, you must explicitly authorise publication of your contact details in your profile and enter at least a phone number or a contact email address. Your short story, specialities, water parameters, images and clip are optional. Your account email is not published automatically; only the contact details you have authorised are made public.
No. The marketplace accepts only dwarf shrimp bred by the seller in Switzerland. Passing bought or imported animals off as your own breeding is grounds for removing a listing or profile. Offspring you breed yourself from a line imported at some earlier point do qualify as captive-bred.
No application procedure, waiting period or commission. You can deactivate listings, change your profile or withdraw your public contact method yourself at any time. There is no commitment or minimum term.
